Camper, Fifth Wheel and Trailer Repair Serving Tustin
OCRV Center repairs campers, fifth wheels and towable trailers at a 35,000 square foot shop in Yorba Linda, serving Tustin owners. Work covers collision and body repair, roof reseal and replacement, water damage and delamination, slide out rebuilds, axles and brakes, interiors and 12 volt systems. Camper collision and body repair runs $750 to $50,000. All work happens in shop.
Ballpark range $750 to $50,000 at 5 to 250 hours of labor. See the posted rate card.

What counts as a camper or a trailer at this shop?
Owners use these words loosely, so it helps to sort by how the unit is built rather than by what the dealer badge said. A folding tent trailer, a 42 foot destination fifth wheel and a bare utility deck all roll through the same gate on La Palma Ave, and all three want a different set of hands on them.
Three families cover nearly everything that arrives. Campers fold, pop, collapse or bolt into a truck bed, and their weak point is always a moving joint: a hinge, a lift arm, a bellows, a latch. Fifth wheels carry a raised forward bedroom over a kingpin, which loads the front third of the frame in a way a bumper pull never sees. Trailers tow off a ball or a pintle and range from a plywood floored utility deck to a laminated destination unit with three slide rooms and residential appliances.
Camper collision and body repair spans $750 to $50,000 across 5 to 250 hours of labor. That band is wide because a scuffed corner molding and a rolled sidewall sit in the same category on paper and nowhere near each other on the bill. Posted bands for every operation live on the prices page.
Campers: folding, teardrop, truck bed and overland
Twelve camper subtypes come through the bays. What they share is that something on them moves, and the thing that moves is usually what broke.
Fifth wheels, park models and the kingpin load path
Seven fifth wheel and park model subtypes. The kingpin puts several thousand pounds into the forward frame rails, so cracked welds, sagging pin boxes and stressed upper deck floors show up here and almost nowhere else in the category.
Bumper pull trailers, utility decks to destination units
Ten bumper pull subtypes, spanning the widest construction range in the category. A utility trailer is a welded steel frame with a wood deck. A destination trailer is a house on a chassis. Both are towed off a ball, and that is where the similarity stops.
Why towable damage is almost always wetter than it looks
The single most common reason a towable ends up on our floor is not a parking lot strike. It is water that got in months earlier through a failed roof lap seal, a shrunken window butyl bead or a clearance light gasket, then travelled sideways along the luan substrate until a floor felt soft near the dinette.
By the time an owner notices the softness, the lauan behind the wall panel has usually gone dark, the block foam has separated from the fiberglass skin, and the outer surface shows the ripple pattern that tells you the bond is gone. That is delamination, and it prices at $1,500 to $20,000 over 10 to 100 hours. Water damage restoration with subfloor replacement prices at $750 to $15,000 over 4 to 60 hours. Roof work on a camper or towable, whether that is a Dicor lap reseal or a full EPDM or TPO membrane replacement, runs $500 to $14,000 across 3 to 70 hours.
The practical lesson is that a reseal is cheap and a rebuild is not. Roof recoat and reseal sits at $750 to $4,500. A roof vent or fan swap, MaxxAir or Fan Tastic, sits at $250 to $1,200. Owners who bring a unit in for the small number rarely come back for the large one.
Booking a camper or trailer into the Yorba Linda bays
Everything is performed in shop at the 35,000 square foot Yorba Linda facility, where the paint booth, the lifts and the frame equipment live. Tustin owners come up the 55 to the 91, or the 5 to the 57, and the trip is short enough that most people drop the unit and are back at work inside the hour.
Collision work carries no charge for insurance walk ins. A systems evaluation covering slides, awnings, water, electrical and generator is $150, applied as a credit against an authorized repair. If a fault needs real chase time, the in depth diagnostic is 1 hour at $285, applied as a credit. Posted labor is $210 per hour for body and paint and $260 per hour for mechanical and electrical, with paint supplies at $55 per paint hour and a $45 hazmat charge on jobs that generate regulated waste.
Jobs over $2,000 take 50 percent at authorization. Jobs over $10,000 take an additional 25 percent when parts arrive, with the balance due at pickup. Sales tax of 7.75 percent applies to parts and materials only. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:30am to 3:00pm, closed Sunday. We stand behind our work. Pick your subtype above, then Request a Quote or read the insurance process before you tow up.
Questions we get asked
Do you work on trailers that are not RVs, like utility and cargo trailers?
Yes. Utility decks, enclosed cargo trailers and equipment trailers come through for frame and structural welding at $750 to $20,000, floor replacement at $500 to $9,500, wall and roof skin replacement at $1,000 to $15,000, and cargo or ramp door service.
How long does a camper or trailer repair usually take?
Labor content is the honest answer, not calendar days. Camper body work spans 5 to 250 hours. A window reseal is 1 to 14 hours. A full interior renovation is 15 to 150 hours. Parts lead time on discontinued molding and cabinet doors often adds more than the labor does.
Can you repair a trailer the insurance carrier already inspected?
Yes, and it happens constantly. We write supplements when hidden damage appears behind a panel, which on laminated towables is most of the time. Carriers billed direct include Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, Mercury, Allstate and Liberty Mutual.
Do you inspect a used camper or trailer before I buy it?
Yes. A camper pre purchase inspection is $300 to $900 over 2 to 4 hours and covers roof and seal condition, delamination survey, floor soundings, axle and brake condition, and a systems function check with a written report you can negotiate against.
