Privacy Policy for OCRV Center
OCRV Center collects only what the contact form asks for and what a repair file requires. Form submissions are delivered by email to info@ocrvcenter.com and are not sold, shared for cross context advertising, or used to build advertising profiles. California residents hold specific rights over this information, described below with instructions for exercising them.
What does the contact form collect?
The contact form asks for your name, an email address, a telephone number, information about your vehicle and the work you need, and whatever you choose to write in the message field. Only the fields marked required are required, and the vehicle detail is there because a useful reply depends on it.
Submissions are delivered by email to the shop address, info@ocrvcenter.com. That is the only destination. There is no third party marketing platform behind the form, no customer relationship system syndicating submissions elsewhere, and no data broker receiving anything.
The technical request that carries a submission necessarily includes the network address it came from and the browser identification string, which is how any web request works. Those are used to prevent automated abuse of the form and are not compiled into a profile about you.
Please do not send sensitive information through the form. Financial account details, government identification numbers, insurance policy numbers and health information do not belong in a web form. If a repair file needs any of that, it will be handled directly with you.
What does the shop collect during a repair?
A repair file contains what the work requires and what California law obliges an automotive repair dealer to record. That means your name and contact details, vehicle identification and description, the written estimate and any authorization you gave, the operations performed with parts and labor itemized, the photographic documentation produced during the work, and payment records.
Where an insurance carrier is involved, the file also carries the carrier name, claim number, adjuster contact and the estimate and supplement correspondence exchanged with them. That information is shared with your carrier because that is the point of a claim, and with nobody else.
Parts suppliers receive only what is needed to source a component, which is usually a vehicle identification or model detail rather than anything about you.
Repair records and the associated photographic documentation are retained as business records for the period California requires of automotive repair dealers and for as long afterward as they remain useful to you, since the photo package is frequently needed years later for a sale or a subsequent claim. Contact form submissions that do not become a repair file are kept only as long as the inquiry is live and are then deleted from the mailbox.
What are your California privacy rights?
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you specific rights over the personal information described above.
- Right to know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties it was disclosed to.
- Right to delete. You may request deletion of personal information collected from you, subject to the record retention obligations that apply to an automotive repair dealer and to information needed to complete a transaction or comply with law.
- Right to correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You may direct a business not to sell or share your personal information. OCRV Center does not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, and this notice serves as the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information disclosure.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. The shop does not collect sensitive personal information for the purposes this right addresses.
- Right to non discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will not affect the price or quality of service you receive.
To exercise a right, email info@ocrvcenter.com with a description of the request. Requests are verified before they are honored, which usually means confirming details that match an existing repair file or inquiry, because releasing information to the wrong person would be the greater harm. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization from you.
Requests are acknowledged within ten business days and answered within forty five calendar days, with an extension where the request is complex and you are notified of the extension.
How is this policy maintained?
This policy describes current practice at OCRV Center rather than a template. If practice changes, the policy changes with it and the revision date shown on the page is updated.
This site is intended for adults arranging vehicle repair and is not directed at children. The shop does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen.
Pages on this site occasionally link to independent sites, including public review platforms and insurance carrier resources. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices and this policy does not extend to them.
Questions about anything described here can go to info@ocrvcenter.com, or in writing to OCRV Center at 23281 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. General service questions belong on the contact form instead, which is faster.
Questions we get asked
Where does my contact form submission actually go?
By email to the shop address, info@ocrvcenter.com, and nowhere else. There is no marketing platform behind the form, no third party customer system receiving a copy, and no data broker involved at any point in the process.
Do you sell my information to anyone?
No. OCRV Center does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. Disclosure happens only to your insurance carrier on a claim you have with us, to service providers acting on our instructions, or where a law or court order requires it.
How do I ask what information you hold about me?
Email info@ocrvcenter.com describing the request. We verify identity first, normally by confirming details matching an existing file, then respond within forty five calendar days. Requests are acknowledged within ten business days of receipt so you know the request has been received.
Can I ask you to delete my repair records?
You can request deletion, and we will honor it to the extent the law allows. Automotive repair dealers in California carry record retention obligations, and information needed to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute or comply with law is retained. Anything outside those categories is deleted.
